ADS-B/TIS-B Validation Testbed (AVT) Phase II Demonstration

The operation of AVT will be demonstrated using live and simulated ADS-B equipped aircraft. Some of the features to be demonstrated include:

• ADS-B and radar track fusion using the ARTAS2 S1 system
• Controller Access Parameters transmitted over ADS-B
• TIS-B uplink of tracks from airport surface surveillance system and from ARTAS
• ADS-B aware CWP (ESCAPE EAT2003A)

The demo will be held in Arlanda, Sweden in collaboration with LFV in November 2003. A separate acceptance test with live aircraft and dual link operations (VDL-4 and UAT) will be held earlier at Brétigny. Full delails will be published later this summer.
